Summary: This guy is CRAZY!
Review: This book is basically a diary of Boonstra's long adventure tours. Some of the conditions he rides in are extremely harsh, and made me think that he was crazy for continuing. I read this book cover to cover, but you don't need to. Each of his trips is a separate chapter. I would definitely recommend reading the first two Alaska trips; it is during these trips that he is learning about adventure touring and he has the most interesting experiences (from a riding standpoint). On his second trip, he gets cought in a blizzard and also does quite a bit of riding in the snow! It was worth the read and really opened my eyes to what you can do on a motorcycle.
