Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Comprehensive, well written book
Review: This is a really neat book! It covers over 150 edible and medicinal plants and includes both photographs and line drawings of the herbs and plants for an easier time identifying them. Each plant has the common and botanical name, as well as a write up on identification, distribution and habitat, and Preparation and uses. Many of them also have folk stories related to the plants from native cultures. The appendices include A Glossary of botanical terms, Summary of herbal therapuetic groupings, Herbal preparations, and sources and recommended readings.

All in all, if I where to bring one book with me, out in the wild... this would be the one.
