Rating: Summary: Best book for great B&Bs in the Emerald Isle! Review: When my boyfriend and I planned our first-ever trip to Ireland, we used this book to the max. If you want the real Irish experience, B&Bs are the way to go. We ate well, slept even better, and met some great homemakers along the way. Since Ireland most likely boasts the greatest number of B&Bs per square mile, it is doubly important to research the "where" before venturing forth. While each B&B is unique in its own way, some are more suited to your needs and tastes than others. Every single bed & breakfast that we stayed in was recommended by this book and exactly as described! The email addresses and websites listed give you direct access to the people you want to contact most regarding your stay. Each home (from a Dublin townhouse, to an 1800-farmhouse, to a castle overlooking a lake) that is listed is exquisite and the anecdotal descriptions are extremely fun to read. We had a ball! Furthermore, the simple directions to each B&B helped a great deal, especially since we were driving. Incidentally, I'd purchase this book along with another general travel guide to take along on your journey. Bon voyage!
