I would certainly recommend this book for anyone residing in the area who knows there is a life beyond thier stucco walls!

Review: This book is invaluable for anyone living in the Phoenix area with kids. I can see how an out-of-towner would not need the information on sports and recreation opportunities, but I moved to the Valley and have used my copy a ton. I also like that it doesn't get outdated, since it includes mostly information on stuff that doesn't close down or change.

Review: We travel to the Phoenix area every year and wanted a book that listed the differrent Childrens activities in the area. We were specifically looking for information on Playgrounds and Parks and what they offer. We purchased the book "Out and About Seattle With Kids" and were very satisfied. But by comaprison this book is miserable. The type face is huge (designed for kids I guess, but seems to be more for filling up pages) and the details are minimal. A phone book would have been just as usefull. I hope someone else takes the time to write a better book.
