Summary: In search of America's tourist traps? Take this book w/ you!
Review: This book is a good companion to Doug Kirby's classic "Roadside America." It's a more straightforward guide to offbeat museums and kitschy tourist traps across the U.S., but it offers more detailed info on each place than the Kirby book does - exact addresses, phone numbers, hours of operation, admission. It's also organized state-by-state and by region, so it's easier to use as a quick reference. Do what I do, write the places that interest you in advance and ask for their brochures (don't forget to enclose a SASE!) and stick them in the book. -- Lori M. Sampson
