Review: ...so of course I think it's a great book. But really--not only are the fold-out maps incredibly useful, the book also has some unique features: It covers the trendy Eastern Docklands area, with its cool contemporary architecture and hip shops. Few visitors make it to this neighborhood because it's not even mentioned in most guides. I also tell you where you can take an excellent small-boat tour of the canals that's completely different from the usual tourist boats, as well as places to get great street food, like hot stroopwafels (crispy caramel-filled cookies) and the best frites (french fries) in town.
