Summary: Good Comprehensive Travel Guide
Review: I use a variety of travel guides. In the past 5-10 years I have gone to a variety of islands and have been able to (mainly) use this one guide for a variety of islands.

It is a good balance of phots, maps, and text broken down island by island. Lots of detailed history, politics, places to see on each island.

I like to visit Barbados and Bermuda (which is also included) and I use this book plus the yellow pages for the current restaurants - since I find the situation with the restaurants to be more fluid with establishments changing management, etc. Also more recently I have done a little web research before leaving.

A good comprehensive book. Buy one for your travel bag.

Summary: good book but great fold-out map!
Review: We cruised the Caribbean for 4 years and I used this book a lot for suggestions of restaurants and sites. Also gives history of islands and locals maps. What I liked best was the giant fold out map that comes with it. I charted our entire trip and have it now hanging in my office.
