Summary: The Perfect Antidote for DIF!!
Review: I devoured this book while counting down the days until my second trip to Hedo and loved it!

For those considering their first trip, this book is essential. Chris does a great job of giving the lay of the land and answering all of those inevitable "newbie" questions like "Is it really as crazy as they say?" (It depends), "Will I spend the entire trip self-conscious about my less than perfect body?" (NO!! That will last about 5 minutes, tops.), etc. In addition, it's a genuinely entertaining read.

For Hedo veterans, it's the perfect thing to spark memories of past trips and build anticipation for the next.

Highly recommended to all.

Summary: THIS IS DA ONE!!!!
Review: I didn't think Ms. Santilli could top her first edition of this book, but somehow, she did. This book truly does have EVERYTHING you need to know about the most wonderful, hilarious, outrageously FUN adults-only resort IN THE WORLD, BAR NONE!
If you are looking for a place where you can TRULY do 'whatever the hell you want to do' (as one of the staff told me on my first trip) then THIS is the place to go.

If you want to know all about the place before you go, then BUY THIS BOOK. You will NOT be sorry.

Summary: Hedonism and the Naked Truth
Review: I found this book to be exactly the information I was looking for. I had read and seen Hedonism listed before but had absolutely no idea what or where it was. This book gave me that information with a very fun perspective. The knowledge that you obtain will help anyone that wants to go there for any reason. It gives you the best times of year to go depending on what your looking for. It gives you details that you would never think about before you got there. For the unexperienced guest of Hedo you have to read this.

Summary: All you wanted to ask...but were afraid to
Review: I have always been curious about what goes on down there. This book answered it all and then some.
From what to pack and how much it will cost to where to even walk, Chris knows Hedo II well. And why shouldn't she...she has been there over 30 times. She even tells you which rooms (by number) to get and which to avoid!
Chris has striven for objectivity and it does show though. However, her personal like of the place also comes through loud and clear.
I am not sure people on the fence like me will be convined to jump up and book a passage to HedoII but that exactly is what I would expect an informative book to be about and this fills the bill very well.
People already on the way there should be helped in avoiding pitfalls and making their time more enjoyable - and that is the moral of the book - leave your inhibitions and clothes behind and come and party.

Summary: A fun read!
Review: I might never get the opportunity to go to Hedo, but I'm certainly prepared if I ever do! This book is just packed with tips and tricks of preparing for your trip. It's also full of crucial information regarding the not-so-well-known etiquette of getting wild and crazy with a bunch of like-minded folks. And the stories are just hysterical. So, even if a trip to Hedo isn't in your future, you can have a great time just reading Chris' book.

Summary: The Naked Truth
Review: I started reading Chris's new book about Hedonism II, and I was laughing out loud by the end of the first page. Chris has a way of giving the goods about this mysterious resort in a straight forward, no bull, tell it like it is, yet humorous fashion. It is an excellent reference guide to the best vacation you will ever take. You may even consider it a "training manual". Having been there before, it was easy for me to see that Chris knows exactly what she is talking about. She has captured the subtle nuance of the resort with class and ease.

Summary: Make the most of your vacation
Review: If you are going to Hedo for the first time then this book is not an option, it is just a plain necessity. There is information here that you will not get anywhere else. It tells you that you need to bring safety pins to hold your toga in place. Who would have thought that you'll have a CD player in each room but maybe not an alarm clock?

My wife learned that she is going to have to bring toenail polish because the sand on the beach will wear it off (uhhh yeah, that sounds right). There's lots of that kind of advice.

The book is filled with wonderful advice. There are also the pithy stories. It tells you what it's really like, without the hype. You learn that it's not the decadent snake pit that a lot of people make it out to be.

I imagine that if you've been to Hedo you will find this book a mirthfull book of memories.

The books is well written. It is worth every penny.

Summary: Cons and More Cons?
Review: My husband and I were considering going to Hedo and the more we read, the more we decided if we were going to spend that kind of money, we wanted it to be "all that and a bag of chips". From mediocre food and lodgings to the "same ol, same ol" entertainment, we decided that it would be worth our time to look for another spot that offered some adult fun with a higher quality of accomodations. This book gives you an idea of the good and the bad in a way that is both entertaining and insightful. The author has a wonderful sense of humor and it comes through in her book. We are grateful that we purchased this book (instead of flights to Hedo) and got a "true" idea of the resort. Much thanks to Chris!
