Summary: Hedos rule
Review: Although I have never been to Hedo II after reading the book I feel like I have been. I have been to Hedo III twice and god willing and the planes are still flying hope to get there again in Dec. Who knows maybe I will write a book about III (grin).
The book is well written, funny and informative. It is a must reading for all the Vinnys out east so they can not waste their money and thus go elsewhere more their speed. Think Vegas-Mexico etc.
Jamaica is an enchanted island and Hedo resorts are a special place with special people. This book tells you if this trip is for you.

Summary: Chris has done it again!
Review: As "repeat offenders" of Hedo II, we had to buy Chris's new book. It is packed with information that will help out the "Hedo Virgin" or the person returning for their 50th trip! The stories will make you laugh, the pictures will make you giggle (when you remember how drunk you had to be to do that), the packing list is invaluable to the first timer, the drink recipes help out the old timers, and the phone numbers help secure that "special" H block room. All in all a great job Chris!

Summary: A laugh out loud read
Review: Being a 'repeat offender' to Hedonism II, I treasured the first edition as an often reread book. The tales of the zany antics of both guests and staff alike made this book hard to put down.

If it is possible this second edition is far better than the first. The author describes it quite accurately, and I quote, "Warning: Don't sip a soda pop while reading this book. The bubbles will burn your nostrils as the drink shoots out your nose".

Summary: The best info you could find about Hedonism II
Review: Chris has done it again! This book tells the exact truth about Hedonism II. It puts to rest the rumours and half truths that circulate everywhere. My husband and I are Hedo vets, having been three times and I laughed my head off reading this second edition of this book. It's hysterical and brought back so many memories. Without the first book, we would have definately been more apprehensive about going the first time. This book should quell anyone's fears. Chris calls Hedo like it is, a very fun time with lots of friends. This is a great book for any Hedo virgin or vet. It's a great read!

Summary: A Must Read!
Review: Chris Santilli does an excellent job in her book. Well written and very informative, with just the right touch of humor throughout.

I highly recommend it to anyone interested in the "Hedo" way!

Summary: Part How To Book Park Tell All...
Review: Chris Santilli does it again with her humorous tales of the Naked City along with good ole' no nonsense advice! This is a wonderful book for the Hedo wanna be and a nice walk down memory lane for those of us that have been there. Chris covers everything from togas to twister and then some. This is definitely a realistic portrayal of the resort on your average (and not so average) day. There is a list of items to take with you (and what not to). It covers PJ party, the Hot Tub antics and even mentions the Prude side of the resort (where is that?). I thoroughly enjoyed reading every part of this book and referring back to it on occasion for tips or just to satisfy that bad case of DIF (Dreaded Island Fever) that comes up after not getting my Hedo fix! The bottom line is, BUY THE BOOK - IT'S EXCELLENT!

Summary: Respect! Feel the hedo spirit
Review: Chris Santillis book is a must for everyone thinking about a trip to a Hedo superclub. It gives you a lot of information which is essential for a visit to jamaica in general and especially to Hedo II / III. But much more important: reading this book you feel like you have been there a lot of times, you can feel the spirit of Hedo and the people having vacations there. It prevents you from being there at the wrong time or having wrong expectations about your vacations. And I have been laughing tears reading about vinnies and sandalites....If you want to have the best vacation of your lifetime, read this book and get the spirit!

Summary: Great for first-timers or Hedo veterans
Review: Don't believe the rumors and wild stories reported other places about Hedonism II. In TNTAH2, Chris does a great job of explaining and illustrating the experience of a very different resort in Jamaica. Hedo II is like no other place on earth. If it wasn't for the First Edition book, my wife & I may not have gone there, now we can't wait to get back. Now the Second Edition has even more tips, photos, and great Hedo stories which veterans will find hillarious (or be very jealous!), and the inexperienced will find almost unbelievable. But you can believe it because Chris has "been there, done that" many times and writes without authorization, support or endorsement of Hedo management.

This book will prepare "virgins" for their first trip by giving tips for what to bring, what to expect, and explains who goes to Hedo. Is this the place for me? Do people really.....? Can I really wear THAT? Should I bring.....? These questions are answered, and many others you never thought to ask. Chris is an experienced "repeat offender" at Hedo and tells the true stories, debunks the myths, and gives many tips needed to make the most of your trip. The wife & I read it straight through the minute it arrived at our door, and we review it again everytime we are longing to go again. Whether you are a couple looking to experience some romance, or a single wanting to party for a week, this book will prepare you for a trip to a place that so many repeaters call Home.

Summary: The REAL truth . . .
Review: Excellent guide! This book is a great guide to Hedo II. We booked our first trip in part because of this guide and have already met a lot of new friends!!

For anyone who wants to try something a bit different - this is a must read - and a must trip!!

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: The Perfect Antidote for DIF!!
Review: I devoured this book while counting down the days until my second trip to Hedo and loved it!

For those considering their first trip, this book is essential. Chris does a great job of giving the lay of the land and answering all of those inevitable "newbie" questions like "Is it really as crazy as they say?" (It depends), "Will I spend the entire trip self-conscious about my less than perfect body?" (NO!! That will last about 5 minutes, tops.), etc. In addition, it's a genuinely entertaining read.

For Hedo veterans, it's the perfect thing to spark memories of past trips and build anticipation for the next.

Highly recommended to all.
