Summary: Rita's Guide...
Review: She covers the resorts.. compares ammenities & price ranges.. She covers all the resort restaurants with in depth reviews, food availability, sample menu selections.. and much more...

As if this couldn't get any better, it does! For all of you internet accessed folks there is a special code that unlocks a wonderful & magical place on the web where you can read other WDW visitors reviews for evan more recent information, trip reports and tips.. not to mention some handy savings..

As a bonus, this year's edition includes the standard top-quality you expect from Rita but also a small section on Universal's Islands of Adventure, a fantastic park that recently opened near the Mouse. I felt like this was such a bonus.. like getting 2 guidebooks in one..

Summary: Simple, Effective, and Credible
Review: Speaking as someone who has read almost every book written on Walt Disney World I can say that Rita Aero's book may be the best book for those planning their first family trip to Orlando.

The book does not have the flash of other Disney World Guidebooks but it does have organized information that I think helps first timers answer the questions they have regarding trip planning needs.

The first 30 pages of the book seem to have the objective of bringing the reader up to speed on the essential aspects of Walt Disney World trip planning. The charts, maps, and tables have been structured so that it's very easy to draw the information from the page. I like that in a reference book. I need info fast and I can get it from this book.I also like the decision panel which helps the reader determine the need for a rental car.

The rest of the book has specific sections on attractions, hotels, recreation, restaurants, special events, and so on.

The last page of the book is a telephone directory. You could easily tear that page out and take it with you on your trip.

The book lists a panel of experts known as the E.A.R.S. Academy who have contributed to the information in the book. These experts are familiar to those people in Disney circles and thus bring with them some strong credentials.

I'm not sure if this book would be received as strongly by WDW veterans as first timers. I do know that I would recommend this book as a prime resource and guide for anyone planning their first trip to Walt Disney World.

Summary: Information,...
Review: That is what you get with this Disney guide. Rita Aero isn't a paid mouthpiece for the Disney company, and therefore has no reason to grind their axe. The author is clear, concise, and not afraid to tell you what she likes and what she doesn't. Further, the Aero guide has the best maps of any guidebook currently on the market.

I am an avid Disney vacationer... we go at least twice per year, and Ms. Aero's guide is the very best of a very large field.

I get new Disney guide books every year and I enjoy them all for their own particualr merits, but of them all, The Aero guide is the best there is.

I highly recommend it.

Summary: worst book for Disney I have seen.
Review: The author of this book doesn't know how to write clear and to the point. And parts of it will bore you to [tears]. I also bought the Unoffical Guide by Bob Sehlinger and found it to be very clear, to the point, also an easy read. There are many Disney Guides out there and this is the worst I have ever seen. Spend your well earned money on something worth it. I was actually forced to give this one star because you can't leave that space empty. But this book doesn't deserve a star at all.

Summary: Disney for Dummies: Confused about WDW? Not after this book!
Review: The best resource for those who have never been to Walt Disney World!

Rita's guide is the easiest-to-understand guidebook on Walt Disney World out there. It's full of the best maps of any WDW guide book (I make maps for a living, so I know what I'm talking about), and the text spells everything out in simple, clear, everyday terms that anyone can understand.

The book helps you to plan any and all aspects of your WDW trip. How to get there, when to go, where to stay, and most importantly, how to save money. Additionally, the book gives comprehensive descriptions of all the parks, hotels, shopping, attractions, facilities, services, and amenities.

But it's not just for newbies. Experts can learn quite a bit about Disney from this book, too. Anything you want to know is either in the book, or can be found on the book's companion web-site, which is full of up-to-the-minute information, updated daily, on schedules, new attractions, and discounts.

Even if you already have one of the many other Disney guidebooks, try Rita Aero's Walt Disney World. It's the best of the bunch!

Summary: Worst WDW Book Out There
Review: This book has very little information and could have been written by Disney employees (maybe?). I found the Unofficial Guide to have much clearer, truthful information that was useful during our trip. Save your money...no book is better than this one.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Great book! Very informative with unbiased reviews.
Review: This book is packed with useful information. I like that the author gives unbiased reviews of the attrations, hotels and restaurants. The coupons included are not very useful. First of all the Walt Disney Co. does not need to issue coupons. They are going to get the traffic anyway. Great rating system!

Summary: A Clear and Easy To Read Guide
Review: This is an excellent guidebook...concise and easy to read...that often has more (and more up-to-date) information in it than the official Disney guidebooks. I think I've read them all, and this one suits our needs better than any other. If you want information without all the "fluff", you'll find Aero's book to be very helpful.

The website that accompanies the guidebook is a treasure-trove of information that's even more up-to-date...more like up-to-the-minute. I bought the book not knowing about the website, and now consider that to be an extra bonus.

Summary: A great book and a great community online!
Review: This is the Bible of Disney, nothing that's the party line, just unbiased reporting by someone who truly loves Disney as I do. And the online resource is a great place to make lasting friends and find out so much more about Disney than you ever knew before. I considered myself a Disney expert but compared to the people that I have met, I am a lightweight. But the book differs from Birnbaums in that it does not spout the Disney line, it actually tells you downsides to different resorts and whether attractions are really worth it or not. DO NOT MISS THIS BOOK IF YOU LOVE DISNEY OR EVER PLAN TO GO THERE!

Summary: Much better available
Review: This latest edition is very similar to the previous one. The writing is at points poor, and the material not presented in an engaging manner. The maps I found overly simplistic, and the promised web site access has no updates now and is often impossible to reach.

I recommend: "Passporter Walt Disney World: The Unique Travel Guide, Planner, Organizer, Journal, and Keepsake!" "The Unofficial Guide to Walt Disney World 2003" "Birnbaum's Walt Disney World"
