Review: No, I am not talking about the latest German sportscar. Rather, I am talking about the Michelin's The Green Guide to Berlin and Potsdam, Second Edition. This book has the legendary Michelin Maps, which fold out to a good size, but not large enough to make you look a tourist and a target. It also has a nice flap on both covers which you can place train or plane tickets under. The information is accurate, except for the fact that German now uses the Euro, and the Euro has became a much stronger currency than when it was created, so items are slightly higher in Germany than published, but all-in-all it is a great book at a great price. I trust Michelin guides much more than Lonely Planet, Fodor's, National Geographic, Rick Steve's, and so on. The book itself has an akward shape, it is not chunky like the other guides, rather it is tall and skinny and printed in France. This guide discusses art, architecture, drama, history, geography, and the many sites of Berlin and surrounding areas. They are graded on a 3 star system. One star is interesting. Two stars is recommended. Three starts in highly recommended. Thank goodness, this book does not contain any really dull sites. I love this book. It has a durable cover, really light, and really portable.

Buyer Beware! This book does not come with a lot of information about hotels and restaurants. If you desire that information I recommend the Michelin's The Red Guide Deutschland. However, it is in German, it is of great quality just like The Green Guide.
