Summary: A decent book.
Review: While browsing the wedding section at my local bookstore, I came upon Joan Hamburg's City Wedding Book.

My only complaint is that most of the bridal stores, florists and reception sites can easily be found in any Brides Magazine. This book also lacks variety in prices; thus eliminating the better photographers, reception areas, etc from the book. I found some of the sections in the book too short for my comfort level and some too long.

However, it is a good reference book for phone numbers of bridal stores, catering locations, the general price ranges, etc. I found the sections on calligraphy and invitations a bit helpful as well.

All in all, this is a decent book. It provides the reader with a handful of vendors for the bride and her groom to start out with.
