Review: I have almost a dozen travel books on LA and this is by far the best because it features encapsulated adventures, like the ones I've done: Island of Romance: Avalon, Santa Catalina Island, Hills of Enchantment: El Encanto Hotel and Garden Villas, Santa Barbara, When You Wish Upon a Star:Disneyland, and Sweethearts in the Saddle: Horseback Riding in the Santa Monica Mountains. Each idyl includes a DETAILED intinerary for day and night, "Romance at a Glance" suggestions, and tours and sights in the surrounding areas to extend your romance. All this sophisticated planning helps you get the most of your luxury hideaway or tourist destination (we found Snow White's Grotto, and learned the secret to the best seat for fireworks in Disneyland). A must to explore our beautiful city! My favorite intinerary: Hooray for Hollywood!
