Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Wine Tasting like a Local.
Review: I'm a California Wine Country local, and I have a good feel for the wines in the Dry Creek area (thanks to last year's edition.) However, when friends came into town wanting to hit the Sonoma Valley (Carneros) I was at a loss. Thanks to this book, however, I could plot out a great circular route, hitting a great group of vineyards. Everybody had a great afternoon, making me burst with pride as the tour leader (at least until I pulled the book out to use a coupon...then the group knew that this book was the real tour leader.)

As I think my story shows, this book is a great resource when exploring regions that you don't know very well.

Oh, and the coupons are pretty handy, too! The book hasn't paid for itself yet...but it's only a matter of time.
