Summary: More of a travel book
Review: I found this to be the least interesting of the three Norton books. Norton is not quite as prominent, and it's more about Peter and Janis and their travels through Europe, the things they did, and the people they met. Gethers' humor is a little overdone here too. After THE CAT WHO WENT TO PARIS, the same type of gags can get a little tiring, though it may be my fault for reading all three books at once. The fact that I did go through all three books shows however that Gethers captured my interest, and while comparing this to the other two can only disappoint, Norton fans will probably enjoy it anyway.

Summary: The best cat book I have EVER read!!
Review: I think this is a really cool book. Norton must be the coolest, best cat in the world. This book was cute and funny. The many incidents throughout the book were unbelievable. I think the cat could have been talked about more. I am going to buy it really soon, and I also hope to read the cat who went to paris.

Summary: Norton is Famous
Review: Like the majority of sequels, the second is never as good as the first. Norton the star now dines on Pounce pizza prepared by superstar chef Wolfgang Puck, stays in a famous New Orleans hotel that has a no-pets policy, tours the United States on the TV talk-show circuit, and receives fan mail and photos from humans as well as cats. Most of this book describes Norton and Peter's year in Provence, where Norton's days in a beautiful 300-year-old country home are filled with naps in the garden, exploring the neighborhood, and more napping in the lap of his human. I think you need to be a cat person to really understand the humor in this book.

Summary: An Absolutley wonderful book - excellent for cat lovers.
Review: Norton is a jewel. The book reads smoothly and progresses logicaly. It is only too bad to add the very sad note that Norton died May 12, 1999.

Summary: Honoring Norton, not replacing him
Review: Peter, I hope you do read these reviews, because according to your Lands End article, you still think of another pet as a replacement. Not. You honor the love and commitment of a pet by finding another needy pet with whom to share your life and love. Yours is the lament of a novice pet owner, alas. After we've honored more than one, we find ways to honor almost instantly. It's the biggest compliment you can pay Norton. fondly, Marian, The Speechdoctor, who's honored several fantastic feline furballs.

ps. the books are great!

Summary: The Best Book I Ever Read!!
Review: The Cat Who Went to Paris, is without a doubt the best book I have ever read! There is no book like it. The cat, whose name is Norton is the sweetest cat if have ever heard of! He shows his master who is Pete through many things. He even knows which girlfriends are right and wrong for Pete. I just want to read this book over and over again. I can't ever put it down. I definitly recommend this book to every one especially people who don't like cats.
