Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Tanzania on Tuesday is about women and trust.
Review: What can you do when there is no bus to the place that you need to go? Read Tanzania on Tuesday and marvel at the resiliance of women who travel. As one of the anthology authors in this book,Jeanne D'Haem, I was surprized at how well the stories fit together. This is a book about innocence and trust, something children and women travellers frequently experience. When you are not in control of events you learn another equally important skill, to be fully aware in each moment. This does not mean that you loose sight of your goals, as my story, Tanzania on Tuesday shows, but you must embrace the journey. I almost called this story Serindipity on the Serengeti but I could not spell it so I used an alternative like women who hitchhike because there is no bus.
