Summary: A view to the Past
Review: This book provides a glimpse into Syracuse, New York's past with nicely-captioned photographs. It focuses on Syracuse in the first half of this century with an entire book of photographs. All facets are explored in this photo book - the town, the people, industries, etc.. I would have liked to see more photographs of the city than social club group photographs. There is also a companion book entitled Greater Syracuse by the same editor, who was the director of the local historic society.
