Rating: Summary: Every Woman Needs a Good Road Trip! Review: Cameron Tuttle's Bad Girls' Guide to the Open Road is a funny, sassy inspiration to find your badness, whatever that means for you. It's the perfect pink vinyl handbook for a wild & crazy escape! Read it. Throw it in your glove compartment. And hit the road for your bad girls adventure...a great way to gain "rearview-mirror perspective - a mood-altering shift in perspective when you realize that problems in your life are smaller than they appear."
Rating: Summary: Makes me want to grab my keys and hit the highway! Review: Both the seasoned road-tripping chick and the vicarious tripper will appreciate Cameron's 'you-go-girl' 'tude. She is truly the McGyver of the open road offering practical (if not outrageously funny) solutions to potential pickles like cooking your roadside delicacies on the hood of your car. A must-have for every girl who's ever wanted to throw caution to the wind, crank the Duran Duran and put the petal to the metal!
Rating: Summary: very funny Review: very funny - i laughed all the way through the book - however, i was hoping for advice on where to stay, drink, eat and fun cities - i'm leaving on a road trip soon from st. louis to montana and would appreciate any suggestions from fellow road warriors.
Rating: Summary: Neither helpful nor funny Review: Disappointing. The humor is strained and undirected, while useful information is sparse. Silly, rather than genuinely funny. Check out Cynthia Heimel's "Sex Tips for Girls" instead, where you'll find real humor and unintentionally good advice.
Rating: Summary: Fantastic summer reading! Review: This book is light, funny and a must read for every girl over the summer. It will help you find your inner "bad girl" and will make you want to hit the road this summer. I highly recommend it!
Rating: Summary: Finally, a book for all the "Road Sisters"!! Review: As a seasoned "Road Sister" I was delighted to find this book waiting for me when I returned from my annual road trip home from Boston to Houston. A friend sent it for a birthday gift and it's one of the best I've received. A veteran of four transcontinental drives (San Francisco to New York) I could relate to nearly every single page. I *should* have written this, but Cameron Tuttle beat me to it. Bitch!
Rating: Summary: Open Road Beware - there's a bad girl on the rise Review: I've been waiting for this book for years! It is an absolute requirement that I go on a road trip at least every 2 months - I could have written it myself. Cameron Tuttle obviously has plenty of experience and offers some fabulous, witty ideas. How to cook on your engine, how to get out of tickets -- it's all in there. What an inspiration to take a break! Be prepared to ditch everything and take off - I didnt even make it to the end before I dropped the top (on my car) and headed for the open road.
Rating: Summary: This Book Rocked Review: I got this book for my birthday and while reading it I laughed so hard I almost peed my pants. I went through it and the technical information that they give you is very accurate. It's the perfect guide for driving, girls, and fun.
Rating: Summary: A must-have guide for any female about to road trip! Review: This book was funny and also included some helpful tips with regards to car maintenance. It kept me laughing the whole time, and is perfect for any female's glove compartment. A great gift for yourself or a friend about to embark on the road trip of a lifetime!
Rating: Summary: The "How-to-do-it" Thelma and Louise guide Review: What can I say- after reading it- I dropped my kids off at my parents, called my husband, and talked my girlfriend into "hitting the road" with me! We had a blast! A great inspirational book to help you to remember those crazy "raod sister" days!
