Summary: the perfect recipe for creating the ultimate roadtrip
Review: The Bad Girls' Guide is the recipe for creating the ultimate roadtrip. From choosing the right music to the right companions, you are led to the perfect combination of fun, badness and, well, yes, safety (check out her information on using mundane items as defense weapons). Cameron dares you to use your trip as the path to complete liberation from regulation, restriction, uptight, don't-put-your-elbows-on-the-table, that-outfit-isn't-appropriate-for-the-office/school, health nut, health club, everybody-knows-your-name and what you are doing, lifestyle. The guide reinforces the notion that a roadtrip is not merely a product of necessity, but a grander act setting our spirits free.

Breezing through its pages, you will find advice on getting out of speeding tickets, paying for your hotel room as well as the many different ways things as varied as condoms, a nerf football, a jump rope and marshmallows can be used. For beauty tips Cameron provides unconventional wisdom on mayonnaise as a moisturizer and how coffee grains can be used as an exfoliating mask. Don't miss this collection of roadtrip knowledge next time you pack your bags and hit the highway.

Summary: put it in your pocket!
Review: This thing lives in my lil car, right next to my Rand McNally. I was thinking, just thinking, about a little road trip when I bought it. That little road trip turned into a big one (and keeps going) when I found too many reason to hit the road in the list of reasons that runs through the book.

If you know what's good for you - be the bad girl and hit the road. If you're gunna do it, you need this book!

Summary: Two Thumbs Up From An Experienced Road-Tripper!
Review: This is a majorly inspirational read, perfect for those days when you're stuck at your desk wishing fervently for a cup of really bad gas station coffee, a pair of worn-in jeans, the wind in your face and the open road behind you to temporarily whisk you away from real life. It causes radical, world-changing thoughts such as: "I wonder how long it would take me to see the world's largest fiberglass cow if I kept driving all night." Ponder the rainforest, your taxes, or the "responsible" thing to do some other time--this isn't the book for it. This is a book that will set you free. Whether you're driving to the other side of the US or to the neighboring town for a carton of milk, this book reiterates the philosophy that adventure is what you make of it...and it is everywhere.

Review: Well, I'm looking at my copy at the moment and i can safely say that this an excellent book for girls just looking for a little fun. Squashed in between two hot-pink vinyl covers is all the information on how to pull the ultimate road trip. Hell, you've already read the editorial reviews so you don't need me to tell you what's inside, but I will tell you this: if you're looking for light entertainment and down-to-earth advice then look no further. You've already found it, kiddo.

Summary: This is such a happy book!
Review: I love this book. It is so great to leaf through when you're feeling frustrated at school/work/home... It's really funny in a cute-sy kind of way. The intense girly-ness of this book can be a turnoff but it's also part of its charm. (Consider: the book itself is fuschia) But I dug it. It would make a great gift, but it's worth getting yourself.
