Summary: A Guide Like No Other....
Review: I actually got this as a joke, since I'm taking a road trip this summer. I started reading it, and I couldn't put it down! It's a very quick read, hilarious, and actually offers some practical road-trip advice (like how to pee on the side of the road, or how to cook nachos on your motor). It also gives tips on fixing your car and finding cheap places to stay.
Whether you're planning on traveling alone or with friends, or even if you're not actually planning a road trip but might someday in the future, get this book, read it, and then use the pages for T.P. along the way, as the auther suggests. It is definitely something I will be taking with me, and although I probably won't have random wild sex with hitchhikers along the way, (hello, some is meant to be funny-- not serious), I might just make up an alias to use in places I stop, "jog the dog," or try to talk my way out of a speeding ticket, using the tips described.
This book is fun, fast and entertaining, and now I'm more excited than ever to get on that open road!

Summary: Incredibly witty, creative and a must-have on a road trip!
Review: Cameron Tuttle does not encourage we women to suddenly go out and do a Thelma and Louise on the unsuspecting back roads of the United States, but she sure knows how to have a good time. For all you gal pals who suddenly get the itch to just "take off" this book is essential to have in your purse, back pack, or glove compartment. Think of it as the kind of book you wish you had when you were a child on all those boring road trips, when you didn't know where you were going or how long it would take to get there. Now, you're in control. You have the road games. You have the laughs. It's even a handy travel diary! It's slim, it's chock full of fun and info, and it's inexpensive. It can't be beat.

Summary: Whacky, witty advice ******
Review: I would give this book 6 stars if I could. When it comes to giving car advice, Cameron is funnier than Click and Clack the Tappet Brothers. I bought this book for my teenage daughter but decided to read it first. The book had witty advice, but I was struck dumb when she included advice on how to pee in the bushes. Do women need written instuction on how to perform this basic activity? Don't they learn this in Girl Scouts or anything? Our son perfected the practice when he was 4 years old...Our daughter never did that. Maybe that's why the world needs authors like Ms. Tuttle.

This humorous and very helpful guide will teach you how to change a tire, things to do with a nerf ball and all the wonderful and creative ways to be safe on the open road. It's pure delight in the unexpected is what makes this pocket size treasure such a treat. With a well designed and interesting flow, this book will advise you all the way across America. It will also give you ideas for the completely unexpected and things you NEVER think will happen - BUT just might.

Summary: Fwee! Fun!
Review: Wow. My mom got this for me just after I got my permit. All I have to say is wow. There's some stuff in the book that I wouldn't agree with, but I'm just not up to full road sister status yet ^_^ I can't wait until my license is in my pocket and I can go! Thanks to Ms. Tuttle, I learned how to keep my left foot awake while driving. I also learned that book pages can be used as toilet paper. (She recommends her book, but I wouldn't. Use the phone book.)

Summary: reading it made me feel like i had just been on a road trip!
Review: this book was great! i never would've bothered getting a "road trip" book since i don't even have my licence yet, but reading it was almost like reading fiction - i could feel myself doing all the things she described! she's a great writer. also, now i know more about cars, secret weapons i didn't know i had, and how to keep fit while on the road! sure, you'd look strange doing those exercises, but hey, you might get a few coins for it ;).

overall wonderful book. bring it with you even if you're just driving to the 7-11. you never know when the "mother road" will call...

Summary: Wanna Be a Road Sister?
Review: Everytime i look at the bumber sticker that came in this book im tempted to grab a few things and hit the road! I was so jazzed for a road trip after i read this book i called all my friends to see who wanted to go! I think it was worth what i paid for it just for the really cute sticker in the back! Its a very helpful book and i have used it on many occasions. Happy Road Tripping!

Summary: Funny & Entertaining
Review: This little book is filled with funny tips. Not all of them are meant to be taken seriously, but I really enjoyed reading them. Very humorous.

Summary: Vroom vroom vroom!
Review: Any book that shows you how to get out of a speeding ticket without crying and 14 ways to open a bottle on your car can't be bad. The Bad Girls' Guide to Open Road also gives you practical info on dealing with overheated engines and flat tires without making you feel like a (...). Plus it has a Thelma and Louise feel to it that only us road goddesses can appreciate.

Summary: Yawn, what a let down
Review: Well, somethings get worse with age, and so does Ms. Tuttle. This book was a major let down. I think a bad girl wannabe would get better advice from viewing all the Aerosmith videos.
