Rating: Summary: Nice Detail Review: When I made my first trip to Paris, I knew I wanted to do a lot of walking to see the sights. I picked up this book because it provides excellent detail of neighborhoods and nice tidbits of information about sights worth seeing. It's an easy book to read and helped give me a sense of where to go. Though in Paris, walking just about anywhere is a treat for anyone not familiar with European culture. This book was a good complement to the other books I had. I also found the National Geographic book to be a good choice too. My only negative comment about the book is that it doesn't help too much with keeping your bearings because the illustrations drill down a lot and you have to go back and forth to really know what section you're looking at. It could have also included information about railway stations, since these were important landmarks for me.
