Summary: Loved Timeline
Review: Outside of Jurassic Park I think Timeline is the best book Crichton has ever written. It only took me three days to read and I'm not even one of those people who loves reading or can read really fast.

Summary: Can this really happen?!
Review: This is a great book i found by accident. it will have you thinking about the possibilities, and when you're all confused it will leave you wondering; can this really happen?. you will not be able to put this book down!!

Summary: A Fast Read
Review: This was a pretty good book. I took it on vacation. I read it in four days. The story is easy to follow... The idea of how time travel is executed in this book is very interesting if a little implausible. I don't know very much about the year 1350 or there abouts, but the book did seem to be authentic. The scenes that were protrayed were close enough for me.

If you're looking for something with not too much depth, this is a good book.

Summary: Michael Crichton's best book ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Review: I loved this book I really do this was one of the best books I ever read, actually it was the best there was so much action and it was so neat seeing people from our time go to the past. Michael Crichtons wrote some of the best books but this one really is the best if you havent read Crichtons books I recomend it and even if you have I do there's a good plot, not too much Science but enough to get you interested in Time and Quantum Physics but it's not a Science book its Sci Fi and a must read for people 13 and up!

Summary: An Expert In the Idea of Writing
Review: Another Breakthrough book in the line of Michael Crichton, each getting better and better. This, an exploration into the past with a breakthrough in technology that was explained thoroughly by the master himself to an extent that I believed. The 6 main characters: Edward Johnston (a professor), Chris Hughes (a graduate student), Andre Marek (a history oppesist), Robert Doniger (a reformed Bill Gates), David Stern (a misplaced scientist), and Kate Erickson (a rock-climbing historian) were all well developed and molded into perfect people. They each fall into a crisis and become very lively and believable throughout the story. After I just finished the book I was so touched that I wished it went on another 450 pages...

Summary: A roller-coaster ride of intelligence that ...
Review: ... takes your breath away. Like he did with Jurassic Park MC again carefully backs his story up with solid facts of scientific facts, that might not work out when trying at home, but prove to be perfect when it comes to send a team of young academics and hardcore-adventurers back in time to save their professor who did not return from his test run to the medial age.

Imagine to go back in time, to find yourself among knights and childes, beautiful maids and dark conspirators, secrets and of course adventure like you have never experienced before. This book is written with such an amount of intelligence and page-turning action that it makes you dizzy.

Definitely something that has to be read several times, so buy the hardcover edition.

Summary: one of the best books I have ever read!
Review: This book is one of the best I have ever read. It isn't a a scifi as I thought it would be, but it definately isn't dissapointing. The description of the whole "transportation process" was understandable and I found myself nodding along and understanding. Timeline is definately a five star book and as it says on the front cover "Crichton delivers..."

Summary: More than Time Travel
Review: This has got to be my favorite book to date! I recommend this one to everyone that I can ! Someone needs to make this into a movie! From start to end Crichton brings each character to life to the point where you are really rooting for the heroes and can't wait to see what horrible fate is waiting for the villans! If you like science and history, this book is for you. If you like fantasy and romance, this book is for you. Sword play, jousting, knights, this one has it all!

Summary: SciFi to Fantasy....
Review: I enjoyed this book! Okay, a group of historians working for a techno-billionaire find out that there is a way to teleport across time to 14th Century France. This is something they do to rescue their professor who was visiting the past and missed the bus back to 1999. Once you've gotten through the techno-babble (My biggest technical skill is dialing the phone, but I kind of understood what Crichton was talking about!), this becomes a huge swashbuckling adventure, full of gallantry, honor, violence and action!

Summary: Liked it so much I read it twice
Review: I read this book when it was first published and again in June 2001. Both times I was so involved in the action that I read it in two days. I love historical fiction, and fourteenth-century France was portrayed very vividly. I cared very much about all of the characters. The ending of the book is one of the best I have ever read.
