Summary: Midievil Charicature
Review: The extravagant novel Timeline by Michael Crichton was an amazing display of how life was in the 1300s. Characters in the book are absolutly realistic and have to run for their lives for much of the book. Because they are architects/historians, they have a good idea of where their surroundings are and when all of the wars and battles went on. I give it two thumbs up.

Summary: Great Book!!!
Review: I'm an avid book reader. However, i'd never even HEARD of Michael Crichton. I saw my friend reading this book and asked him what it was about. He refused to tell but recommended the book to me. Well, I read it and it was the best book i ever read. This book is simply great; unlike in other books, Crichton recognizes the fact that not all the readers have Ph.D. and has explained everything from history (medieval stuff) to science (quantam foam, photon) even with experiments. Besides all that, it has a great plot, even better expressing (writing) style and simply great and fitting Characters. I recommend this book to everyone, from the one who has never read one to the die-hard readers. Believe me, it's great and you'll not waste your time!!! Read it now.

Summary: A fantastic mix of time-travel technology and adventure
Review: If you love technology and how it impacts our world and you love adventure and history... holy buddah, is this book for you!

I started it and couldn't put it down! I don't finish many books because I lose interest so quickly - but this one is a must.

I also like the books by Larry Bond and Vince Flynn.

Summary: Michael Crichton's Best, Period
Review: This is Crichton's best work, period. I have read Jurrasic Park, Lost World, etc. But this book is the best. This book brings reality and unbelievability together in one fascinating plot. I couldn't put this book down. He caught my attention when the guy's head was cut off right when they arived back in England. What a wake up call! But this book rightly showed how hard it would have been to live in England in that time period and certainly how hard it would be for someone from the future who has no clue what it is really like. Crichton really did his research on this one. Whew!

Summary: Left me breathless!
Review: After seing several on the big screen, this is the first Crichton book I have read. History and technology come together and leave you flipping pages faster than you can catch your breath. The detail is brilliant. This book grabs you in the first few pages and flings you from the present to the past on an adventure that would be well worth reading again. I can't wait to sink my teeth into more of Crichton.

Summary: Insane Ride
Review: This book is another hit from Crichton! Moment after moment you find something else happening, and it's all intersting. Dealing with topics you likely don't have experience with, Crichton is able to control when you are told information. A great exame of a lot of time put into a book!

Summary: Timeline:TB
Review: I liked the book because mainly it was very descriptive. Two other reasons I liked the book is it had a good storyline and it was about medieval times, a part in time I liked.

The best part of the book, I think, was the confrontation with the green knight by two main characters, Chris and Kate. The worst part of the book when the explanation of quantum physics was explained.

the most vivedly strong element in the book was when Marek, Kate, Chris, and two ex-marines were attacked by a group of knights right when they got there in the machines. It was very descriptive here and had quite a bit of action in it. Also a major part in the story happened at that point. The climax was when rebels attacked a castle with their army while the main characters were inside, also a big twist happened at this point as well.

Summary: I loved reading this book
Review: Whatever any of these people say, Timeline is a book worth reading for people who love history and the thought of travelling through history. In a time where faux pas can lead to death, most people would be dead today. Killed on someone's whim because who could be quiet enough or strong enough to deal with those absolute and/or arbitrary powers?

I thoroughly enjoyed this book while traveling through France, enduring the ridiculous behaviors of ... tourists.

Summary: It's sad this book has an ending
Review: Michael Crichton have opened my eyes when it comes to reading books. Timeline is just fantastic, Time travle and a history class at the same time. I felt as a came closer to the end, kind of sad, I realy didn't want to put this book down. It's a book I'm going to read again, and again for a long time.
