Rating: Summary: I Would Be Lost without It!! Review: I have been using the Arrow Street Atlas' for years. I have NEVER been lost as long as I had one in the car. Whether for work or personal use, these maps are indespensable to anyone travelling in unfamiliar areas. I highly recommend them.

Rating: Summary: WHY only one map per community??? Review: I used this map for many years, and never wondered if it had any relationship to why I was getting lost all the time. Then I got a new map that is continuous. Suddenly, I could find myself when I needed to get somewhere! I didn't have to know what town I was in in order to plan a route! All the maps were at the same scale; I could tell how far away something was by where it was on the map! That fine map has since gone out of print. I don't understand why people keep buying maps like this, instead of demanding the kind of continuous scale, contiguous maps that people everywhere else in the USA are using. Please join me in boycotting this type of map utnil they wise up. There is a "Pocket Boston Map" on sale that is done properly, at least for all the communities inside 128. Buy that instead!
Rating: Summary: Best Maps Available for Massachusetts Review: The Arrow series of maps for Massachusetts are excellent. I frequently travel the state, and love the maps in these atlases. They are extremely detailed (much more so that the Gazetteer series by Delorme.) One reviewer didn't like the fact that the maps are not continuous (running from town to town on the same page). However, I see this format Arrow uses (1 town per page) much more friendly, as you can easily find the town maps alphabetically (more or less - there are a few exceptions), instead of trying to figure out how the atlas has grouped them - is Sudbury with Lincoln, or with Marlboro? And how do I find that page - under S, L or M? In addition, Arrow atlases have FAR better color schemes than other atlases I've used for Mass. They use full color maps - noting parks, rivers, etc. Very easy to follow - much more so than some of the 2 color atlases available. The best feature of the atlas is that it's spiral bound, allowing you to leave it open to any page on the passenger seat while driving!
