Review: The Golden Milestone is a complete reference of Roman and Italian accomplishemnts and is highly enjoyable to read since it is written with some personal and humorous stories. Highly recommended, it contains many interesting stories about everyday customs, words and inventions. My wife is Italian and she loved the Customs & Tradtions and the Fashion chapters. This book is a great value it contains everything from science to sports. There are some really amazing stories about the lives of some famous inventors, artist and scientists - order this book now!

Review: The Golden Milestone uncovers the most amazing facts about Italian and Italian-American accomplishments. It is a very unique book that covers just about every subject. Great stuff and fun to read. We also used the book's "Italy Travel Guide" that is included as a supplement for our trip to Italy this year. Read this book and pass it on. It is refreshing to read the positive things instead of stereo-types that the media usually servers up about Italian-Americans. Thank you Mr. Esposito for writing this book.

Review: This 2nd edition of The Golden Milestone includes information and chapters on everything! Everything from the human genome project (Medicine chapter) to the invention of he piano (Music chapter). The book is very well written and organized very logically. I read the fantastic editorial reviews on Amazon, and I agree with Emily T. Gear, Director, Garibaldi-Meucci Museum in NYC, who said this: "The Golden Milestone is passionate...readers become hopelessly engrossed...absolutely essential...it is a resource of rare historical and contemporary relevance." This book is essential for all, not just Italian-Americans, the research that went into it is astronomical (by the way there is even a chapter on astronomy). Get it, read it, enjoy it.

It is full of information that you may already know in the back of your mind, but the book clarifies it and recognizes the individuals instrumental in the contribution. The author inserts a little of his own humorous antidotes along the way. All in all it is a very interesting book. It would be good for students of any age to learn an overall view of the subject matter. Any reader should be both amazed and entertained!

Review: This book is positively the best book you can read on Italian heritage and the cultural legacy that the Italians and Romans have given to the world. This is a very complete book. Entries are alphabetically arranged and well organized into 20 chapters on specific subjects. The author keeps you interested by the enormous volume of engaging entries, as well as, the light hearted humor he injects in certain areas of the book. An excellent book in every way, well written, and well organized.

Review: This book is truly amazing! It's a great book to read, filled with fascinating facts and information about Italians and their numerous achievements in this world. Refreshing to read since all you hear about the Italians these days, are negative stereotypes---i.e, Sopranos, etc. The writting could be better, I found numerous typos in it, however, the book's content is great! A must have for any Italian-American or anyone who is interested in Italians! Un libro stupendo, e proprio bravissimo!!
