Summary: DON'T GO TO MAUI WITHOUT THIS BOOK!!!
Review: This book really made our trip special. It's easy to read, accurate and has better pictures than any book on hawaii i've seen. If anything, this book proves that you should NOT SIT BY THE POOL AT THE HOTEL - rent a Jeep and take this book along - you might never come back home. I only wish there were similar books for Kauai and Big Island... hint hint

Review: This book's organization is a bit confusing at first, but it has some good information to offer. It has great suggestions and details for the road to Hana trip, as well as a few good restaurants. If you're looking for a book that covers everything on the island of Maui, this isn't it though.

Summary: The best Maui guidebook ever.
Review: This is a really phenomenal book, even if you're only dreaming about going to maui [and Molokai]! There are hundreds of beautiful photos taken all over these two islands, even in some of the remotest areas, and all have matching numbers on the many maps so you can easily visit each and every location. The author claims this "photo-finder" saves you time so you don't end up going to a location you won't like, but we found just the opposite problem: there wasn't anyplace we didn't want to go to once we saw the photos! Ever heard of "Golf Links"? neither did we, but we spent a full day and a half there based on this book's photos and directions [and the enthusiastic tone of the author's text]. Spending all the money it takes to go to Maui or Molokai and not buying this book first [well in advance...it's huge] would be the mistake of a lifetime. 5 Stars!
