Review: Our copy of this book literally fell apart with use! We found miles of deserted, heavenly spots and had the most unforgettable, breathtakingly beautiful vacation of our lifetime. It would not have been possible without this book. It was so simple to bring home outstanding photographs! With one person driving and one navigating (with the book), you just can't go wrong. You can find exactly the Hawaii you are looking for, be it action or "From Here To Eternity" romance. Don't leave home without it!!

Review: Talk about disappointing! This book had maps that were hard to read and not in scale. Try finding a book that lists off mile markers because the descriptions this book uses to get you somewhere get you LOST! The street maps were useless. It is obvious that those who wrote this book didn't go to some of the locations they list - because they were misrepresented. Sometimes they'd talk about a really cool waterfall...and then not put it on the map - so good luck finding it. I wish I had bought a different book for my trip to Oahu.... This book gets a failing grade.

Summary: Great pictures, maps and information!
Review: The directions and maps were very tourist friendly. We took our book on every drive. The neatest thing about the book is that it described places that the average tourist does not know about. Our best hike was at Monoa Falls (pg. 22).

Summary: Fun & useful! Perfect island road safari.
Review: This is a fun guide to some great spots on the island of Oahu. We used the accurate maps in favor of a more detailed, but bulky, road map. It was like having a friend with us who was pointing out neat routes and points of interest. It really made our trip interesting and allowed us to take full advantage of having a car. Even after the trip, we enjoy looking up where we visited and sharing the details with friends.

I recommend this as part of your travel kit for Oahu. Most guides are too general to Hawaii or too specific to Honolulu, but this one focuses so nicely on the entire island of Oahu and the highlights! It was also nice to use when we decided to have Hawaii movie night since the book notes where movies were filmed.

Review: This is the best guide book that I have seen on Hawaii. It is not only informative but has great pictures on every page. The quality of both the writing and the graphics is great. I recommend you buy this book before you go to Oahu.

Review: This is the best guidebook for touring Oahu that I have seen. Oahu receives millions of tourists each year. This guidebook will give you detailed driving or bus directions to many off the beaten path places you will have to yourself. I found the driving directions easy to follow. The book also shows beautiful, full color photographs of different places around the island to visit. As an added bonus, the author shows you on his maps exactly where he took those photos. This book will show you a side of Oahu that most tourists miss. You will not regret purchasing this book.

Review: We bought this book expecting it to be similar to Maui Revealed. When we went to Maui we had a sensational time with the Road to Hana drive. Even though it had less pictures, it was much more user friendly than this book. I could ad lib with Maui Revealed but had to pull over often to really get this book. The book could be improved with better markers and suggested as to which of the many stops one should really partake in.
