Summary: Still the Best
Review: I have bought this book each time I return to Disneyworld and learn something new each time. The best points stressed by the book are: go during the off-season (don't need the book), go to the park early and leave the park for a break in the middle of the day. The book is published once each year but most the information is a re-hash of the prior year's book. He has good info. on the new attractions but he tries too hard to guess what and when new things will open (without telling you he's guessing). For example, we went to Epcot ready to ride GM test track as our first ride (12/98) and were informed by the Disney folks that the ride has not opened to the public and they are not sure when it will open. The book makes it sound like it is everyones favorite thrill ride. Although the book has flaws, it is still the best book for those who like to see and do as much as possible in a small amount of time.

Summary: Buy any Walt Disney World guide but this one!
Review: Despite the rave reviews that this book receives (it is nice to look at and fun to read, but I doubt that anyone who praises it actually used it to plan their Disney World trip), I tell everyone I know who is planning a trip to Walt Disney World to avoid this guide. I have been to Walt Disney World more than 25 times, and have done my research on which guides are good and which are bad. This guide is the only one that I tell everyone to stay away from when planning a Disney World trip. This book simply does not contain reliable information. For example, the authors create "guest reactions" to rides that are not yet open. If you want a fictional account of Walt Disney World and what to do there, then this book is for you. If you want reliable, true information, look elsewhere.

Summary: Fantastic, a must have for anyone who hates long lines!
Review: This is a terrific book! I have used every edition since 1996, and let me tell you something, it works! This book has proven strategies for beating the lines, even in the overcrowded months of summer and holidays! I kid you not when I tell you the longest lines I stand on were at the food lines. Add in the fact that because they aren't "slaves of the mouse" (hence, unnoficial guide) they do honest reviews of all rides, attractions, hotels, and restaurants inside Disney, and it's a must buy! This year's version also includes the Animal Kingdom! Now stop reading this and go buy it!

Summary: The "Unofficial Guide" is the only guide you'll need
Review: I first used The Unofficial Guides in 1989 when I went to Disney Land, and then used it again in 1990 when I went to Disney World. If you buy one book - buy this one. It shows you how to save money and time. The best part is the touring plan for both adults only and adults with kids. Follow this plan and you won't waste your time trying to figure out where to go or what to see next.

Lots of information of hotel ratings, car rental ratings and restaurant ratings, as well as details on all the parks.

Summary: Don't leave for Disney World without it!
Review: This book is (in my humble opinion) the best of the WDW guidebooks. The reviews and information are very thorough, and the advice is both time and money saving! If you are looking to get the best "bang for the buck" from your Disney vacation, planning is key, and this book is a great investment.

Summary: This is THE book about Walt Disney World
Review: We used this book to plan our Christmas 96 trip to WDW. We were amazed how well the recommendations saved us time in line, money, and frustration. I am placing an order today for a new edition of The Unofficial Guide to Walt Disney World to assist in planning our January 99 trip.

Summary: truthful,excellent and brilliant detail
Review: The guide is that good I buy it every year so I can imagine Im back at Disney, even when Im not .The reviews are very fair and very acurate ,with the tips about beating the long waits in line make this book worth the price on its own.

Summary: A very honest look at Disney World
Review: I have found this Disney World reference guide to be very entertaining and forthright. It includes very blunt, truthful, funny and candid observations of all aspects of Disney World, including the attractions, restaurants, and accommodations. Even if you are thinking about purchasing or have already purchased the Birnbaum official guide, get this unofficial guide as a companion to it.

Summary: Must reading before you go to Walt Disny World.
Review: Great book with lots of valuable tips and directions. With this book you can get the most for your time and money while at WDW.

This book is well worth the price.

Summary: Don't leave home without it
Review: The best of all the Disney books. We have five (yes, five) small children (ages 1-9) and have go to WDW every other year. I buy this guide book before each visit. I can't emphasize enough how much time (and time is money) this book will save you. It's also very funny. It is a great book even for those of us who are not theme park commandos. While I don't follow every piece of advice, much of it is priceless.
