Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Great little book full of drawings
Review: This book is highly recommended for anyone who is or has gone through a difficult time in their life seemingly alone. I think it would be good reading and an object to have around for a child who has lost a loved one.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: uplifting and down to earth
Review: This book is wonderful. It is an honest and open insight into how things touch our lives, how we come to terms with them, and how indeed 'everyday matters.' You will have your eyes opened and with Danny's help you will find yourself looking at your world in a very different way and you will find it a much nicer place to be than you may have thought before. Buy it and then buy it for all your friends.

Summary: Unique & Wonderful
Review: This is a great book. One that you will pass on to friends that are going through trials. It is a great gift when you are not sure how to help someone in need. The combination of text and illustration is unique and engaging. The book provides perspective on the challenges of life without preaching or attempting to provide a quick fix. This book will have a lasting impact.

Summary: A fabulous book
Review: This is a wonderful book, full of fabulous drawings and stories.

Makes you to look at the small details of your life in a fresh way. Would make an amazing present for anyone - I had it as a christmas present but had to wrestle it out of the hands of different family members who were all just as enthralled by it.

Is great to read as a journal / art book but also SO INSPIRING for anyone who would like to or does draw. Danny's weblog is also worth checking out at www.dannygregory.com for even more inspiration!

This is the type of book you don't read just once, everytime you pick it up, you notice something different. Will be buying more copies as birthday presents!

Summary: A different view on life
Review: This is an outstanding book which keeps you busy much longer than the time you need to read the text or look at the drawings. The personal drama almost never turns into self-pity, which is important. Some thoughts stay in your mind, as they express something substantial in life we've almost forgotten. Apart from that, some of the drawings seem to have lost context to the story, like children who have lost their parents (if you know what I mean). Perhaps, Mr. Gregory loved to show some of the wonderful drawings without having a precise idea where to integrate them. But as the book is full of associations, just ignore it. Everyday matters is still lying on my kitchen table and often in the morning, I have one more look at the drawings and texts - still discovering new things. Perfect, isn't it?

Summary: Everyday does Matter
Review: This is one of the small gems that we can all learn from.
Danny Gregory has given us an intimate look into the "now"
that is so fleeting. His unpretentious writing and quirky illustrations make for a profound reading experience.

This is a gift that I will share with my closest friends.

Summary: what really matters in life...
Review: this is the kind of book that one reads in one setting, and then reads it again much slower. the story of danny, pattie, and jack coming to grips with the changes pattie's accident brings to all of their lives, is a parable for us all. danny weaves a story of life and love around a clever devise, his learning to draw. it is funny and sad but always intelligent. every person who has other people in their lives should read this book as a reminder of how good life is, if you stop and look at it for what it really is. i keep my copy nearby, and it makes me happy to just re-read a few pages now and then. i will be giving it this christmas to friends and family. i hope you will enjoy it as much as i do. the unexpected bonus is the brilliant art direction danny has brought to print.
