Review: I LOVE DIANE'S BOOKS. I GET SO INVOLVED THAT I DON'T WANT TO PUT IT DOWN. THESE CHARACTERS SEEM SO REAL TO ME I THINK IT IS A DISSERVICE TO LIST THIS AS A ROMANCE, I FIND MOST HISTORICAL ROMANCES TO BE CONTRIVED AND PREDICTABLE WHICH THIS CERTAINLY IS NOT. ALSO THE PLOT DEVELOPMENT IS AMAZING

Review: I defy anyone to read this book and not find something riveting about it. It has everything, romance, humour, sadness, joy. The people
come alive and one can and does live every moment with them.If you can suspend your adulthood and clap your hands you can have your very own Never Never land. After reading all four books I am waiting with bated breath for the next one. Not too long please!!

Summary: A book I could read again and again.
Review: I have never read a book that kept me thinking about it even after I was finished with it. I have since started to read the series again but this time I'm going to read it slower so that I don't miss anything. I hope that DG writes more books like this.

Summary: I love these books I own all four in hard cover.
Review: Voyager was just as good as the first two. I hated having to put this book down. This book draws you so completely I wish I could be there with the characters. I enjoy the fact that Ms. Gabaldon has done a lot of research on her facts. Her books draw me so, that I would love to go Scotland and see it's beauty and learn all it's history from that time. I would love to have a love that knew no time or space. I would and have recommended her books to anyone. I hope she writes a fifth one in her series. If you have not read the fourth book it's a must.

Summary: Loved the book-especially as a mystery
Review: I was given this book as a gift althought it was not the one I asked for. It was a surprised to find a "series" book that was so self- contained. Not knowing the history of Jamie and Claire turned this book into a mystery for me. D. G. Does an excellent job of building suspense within a historical romance frame And still get a sense of continuation for her previous readers. I haven't yet read Dragonfly or her the other sequels yet, though I look forward to it

Summary: Very good reading!
Review: I enjoyed this book every bit as much as I did the first two. It amazed me that the third book was equally as spell-binding as the first one! (Although I enjoyed Jean Auel's Ayla books, I wasn't as keen on the books after "Valley of the Horses".) With these books I "paced" my reading so that the first time pleasure of reading them could last as long as possible! I just finished reading "Drums of Autumn" - after trying to make it last for a month! These are very good books! Just right for those long Arctic winters here in Barrow

Review: I was fortunate when I first started reading Diana Gabaldon's intriguing series; fortunate, I say, because the first three books were already available, so I didn't suffer quite so terribly from Claire and Jamie withdrawal. From the moment I picked up "Outlander" I knew that I was reading what perhaps in time will (and should) become the standard for romance, although it is erroneous to categorize Gabaldon's works as simply being "romance". The ongoing saga of the Frasers is enjoyable regardless of what genre you prefer. Diana is just that good. But I digress...
In the third installment of the series, Doctor Claire Randall is vacationing in 1968 Scotland when she discovers that her husband, Jamie Fraser, who she thought was killed during the battle of Culloden, has in fact survived and is alive and well...in 1765. With the aid of their daughter, Brianna, and young historian Roger Wakefield, Claire arranges for the most difficult--and the most rewarding--undertaking of her life: reuniting with Jamie after twenty years of separation. Full of surprising twists as well as the emotional depth and historical accuracy one has come to expect from Diana Gabaldon, "Voyager" is a novel that stands on its own, which is how a good novel is written, whether or not it is part of a series. However, "Outlander" and "Dragonfly in Amber" (the first two books) are fascinating reads, and I highly recommend them. You will definitely gain a better understanding of what lies between Claire and Jamie!

Summary: Another totally mesmerizing novel by Diana Gabaldon
Review: Again the author has not let us down spinning her continuing tale of Claire and Jamie. This is a book that I could not put down, I had to know what was going to happen to two people I already genuinely cared about. Not withstanding, the rich historical content of this novel by itself is obviously painstakingly researched and I find my self learning many things about Scottish history. I am eagerly awaiting the book, Drums of Autumn, due out in January of 1997

Summary: A wonderful mesh of history and fantasy!
Review: The anticipation for this book had almost crippled me. When I was finally able to read it, I couldn't put it down. The immense amount of history that is contained in Diana's books, are absolutely breathtaking. Her descriptions take me from my home straight to Claire and Jamie. When reading a historical novel I sometimes skim the paragraphs before the interesting information, but with Diana's books I read every word, every paragraph and digested it as a rare and exotic meal. From the moment I opened Outlander to the time I closed Voyager, I have lived in another world. I am sure that my husband was very thankful for the hiatus. Bravo Diana! Encore! Review: Not just a good story. This book and it's two predecessors are rich and colorful. I'm thankful that this book holds out the promise of more to follow. This is one story I don't want to see end
