Rating: 4 stars
Summary: An Unbelievable Journey
Review: This is a wonderful story of three animals, a Labrador retriever, a bull terrier, and a beautiful Siamese cat who travel together facing overwhelming dangers in the Canadian wilderness. They face wild animals, severe weather and starvation to find their way home to the family that loves them. This is a courageous story that appeals to students who love animals! Very popular in the middle grades!

Rating: 3 stars
Summary: A novel that actually does translate better as a film.
Review: Walt Disney took this medium quality, but very original story and created a CHILDREN'S movie.

The story of two dogs and a cat "talking" and traversing a great distance to get back to their home was an original idea in the early sixties. It benefited from the "back to nature" trend of the time, and fit well into Disney's previously only animated stable of talking animal characters.

This is a novel for children. Especially ones who do not watch TV or go to the movies.

Summary: Great & well writen too!
Review: This story was very special. I found that this book was full of great deatale and was very easy to understand. I recamend this book to middle school students and 5th graders. And you should cheak out the movie too. It has the animals telling the story and they were extermily cute!!!!

Rating: 2 stars
Summary: Not so good book
Review: I would have liked the animals to have told the story. I thought the movie was 10 times better than the book. I had to read this book for school & I hated it. Don't read this book

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: Super cuddly
Review: This tells the story of the daring escape and heartbreaking trials of three ultimate cyborg assassins: a dog named Bandit, a cat named Tinker, and a rabbit named Pirate, armed with missiles, poison gas, state-of-the-art computer technology, rapid fire chain guns and unbreakable exo-skeletons. Wait, that might actually be We3. The stories are somewhat similar.
