Review: Cape May is a beautiful town in New Jersey that my family and I visit every summer. Every time I leave, I wish I could take a piece of Cape May home with me. Now that I have Mary McCarthy's book, I can visit as often as I like. The book really does capture the essence of Cape May. I highly reccommend buying the book.

Review: Have you ever been to Cape May, New Jersey? If so, you undoubtedly love it like I do. If not, this book will convince you to go! With over 600 examples of Victorian architecture, Cape May is America's Oldest Seaside Resort and America's only National Historic Landmark City. A few years back, I went to Cape May for the first time and fell completely in love. Maybe it was the horse carriage rides along tree-lined streets, the pure white sandy beaches, the dozens of quaint shops or welcoming porch rockers and Victorian gingerbread.... but I was hooked! I tried to buy a book about Cape May that would remind me of how much I love it, but couldn't find one that captured its essence. So I spent a year or two working on Cape May for All Seasons. Review: I am a proud Jersey Girl and my family and I visit Cape May every summer. I was thrilled to discover a book that captures the essence of this very magical place--in all seasons! I especially enjoyed the beautiful Christmas time photos, as I have never been able to visit Cape May during the winter months. Overall, a very enjoyable and beautiful book!

Review: I was so glad to finally find a book with beautiful photography of my favorite place. Anyone who loves Cape May will appreciate and love this high quality book. As a preservationist, I think it is great that this book includes historic quotes from other Cape May works that focus on the importance of this national landmark city. I definitely recommend it!
