Summary: This book has it all!
Review: I know you are a busy person, so this will be short. This is a great book! Helpful hints for anything you need a hint for. Great for all of the busy people in the world! Also a great gift for a friend who has it all.

Summary: A great gift for someone who has it all
Review: Originally, I bought The Art of Shen Ku as a gift for my Dad. He's impossible to buy for, has everything he needs, etc., etc., etc. While I did give him the book for Christmas, I did not give him the one I bought. I started reading it and couldn't put it down, so I had to get him another copy!

This book is full of fascinating facts and insights. It has information about everything you want to know about, plus some extra stuff it never occurred to you to wonder about! I never knew I needed to know how to make roofs and walls from leaves, but now I know, just in case the need should arise. The book has an excellent reference section for natural remedies. I found this particularly handy as few of the natural remedies you find in stores actually tell you what they're good for & I've always wondered. This section, along with the rapid reference to symptoms of various vitamin deficiencies, makes me feel well armed to walk into a health food store and make informed purchases (rather than my usual wandering around aimlessly and picking up random bottles of supplements and wondering what they do).

From natural remedies to magic tricks, this book has it all. Acupressure, food storage, knots, self defense, exercise, disease diagnoses through hair and/or facial features, numerology, handwriting analysis - on and on! I highly recommend this very readable, very informative book to everyone, especially to those who have "hard to buy for" people on their gift lists.

Summary: Great Gift for a Guy
Review: This is the perfect Christmas gift for that hard to buy for guy on your Christmas list or for the office "secret santa" gift. It's both a reference guide and entertaining! It's actually quite useful with lots of info about yoga, vitamins, and homeopathic remedies. It's also priced right so it's an impressive, thoughtful gift you can give without breaking the bank! I also got one for myself because of all the quick and easy info on herbs!

Summary: The Art of Shen Ku
Review: This book is the definitive guide to the world. You name it and you can find it inside. This book keeps you searching for more. I was once a firm believer in a book entitled "The Doctor's Book of Home Remedies II" but Shen Ku has changed all that. This "how to" book addresses everything from strength training to ways to beat common allergies. Shen Ku enables the pedestrian to conquer life's unknowns with ease and confidence. Page after page outlines invaluable information that those of all ages, and all walks of life can benefit from. For those interested in a "one-stop" all encompassing guide, I highly recommend The Art of Shen Ku.

Summary: A must have book!
Review: This is one of the books that every household must have on their bookshelves. There are answers to almost everything you may need in this book. I have only begun to get to the entire scope of everything in the book. The author must have spent his entire life (or almost all of it) finding the facts in this book. Examples of what is covered in the book are acupunture, viatmins deficiencies, personality traits found in a person's handwriting, healthy recipes, an explnation of numerology, first aid, basic navigation, magic tricks, quick kid's games, and morse code to name just a few of the subjects.
I would recommend that everyone click on order ASAP and order a copy for every person you care about.

Summary: A guide to life...Summarized in 250 wonderful pages...
Review: An amazing book that unfortunatly has not recieved the deserved attention it should have. At first flip through the pages, I thought this was a joke of a book. Martial Arts, knots, magic tricks...!!But then I sat down with a coffee and looked more closely at the pages. Both entertaining and factual, this is really a book of life! I believe in book smarts and street smarts, however corny it sounds, but this book will teach you those street smarts. Hardly anything inside is taught in school and is surprisingly common in our everyday life. Remedies, exercises, diets, sex, jokes, heroes, recipes, and so much more is in these chapters. It is amazing that one man could be as smart as Zeek and be so dead on with all of his teachings. A great holiday or anyday present for the young and the old (features a section of elderly self protection, or grandma karate!) Definitely a big thumbs up!

Summary: A Little bit of Everything
Review: If I were to ever go on the show Survivor, this book is the one item I would bring. This is definitely a book you want to have in your book collection. When I first received it (a week ago), I just skimmed through the whole thing. I have since gone back to it to look up headache reliefs, yoga positions, and how to interpret dreams.

My one criticism of the book is that it comes across as obviously written from the male point of view. I'm sorry, but herbs to increase breast size - please! But all in all, I recommend this book, especially as a x-mas gift for any hard-to-shop-for people on your list!

Summary: A life saver
Review: To be simple so I take little time, I will just say this book is one of the best books I have ever laid my eyes upon. For people who do not live in the box this book is a must.

Summary: The Art of Everything
Review: When I saw this book, I thought of one thing... unfortunately, its an incredibly obscure reference in itself, but it fits. For fans of the old Disney Duck comic books or of the more recent "Duck Tales" series, you will know what I mean when I say that this book is like the "Junior Woodchucks Manual" - the "inexhuastable resevoir of knowledge" that Huey, Dewey, and Louie always referred to!!

Meanwhile, in the real world... this book is great - not only is a sufficient hit for an info and knowledge junkie like myself, but its legitimately useful. If you do any sort of travelling, get this book. If you know people who do a lot of travelling, get THEM this book, as its a great travel companion, whether you're back-packing through the Himalyas or romping in the streets of London.

The book IS fun and entertaining to read, but it is also informative, thought-provoking, and most of all, USEFUL. Even though its meant to be a "Traveller guide to the universe", I used some info in it this past weekend to tie up the Christmas tree!!
