Review: Yes, a lot more information is available on the internet these days, and some of these places/details gets dated after a few years, but I still find this a great book and an easy reference to have on hand in the truck, while traveling.

It is especially valuable if you are traveling with horses across several states or to states you have not been in before.

The state maps showing all the key places are excellent!

Over 100 horse trails throughout the USA and CANADA are listed, as well as 350 stables/ranches with stalls available, 38 bed & breakfasts that also board horses, vets near boarding facilities, 224 farrers, 24 tack shops, 29 vet schools (for emergency care), and 190 camper/RV sites at or near horse boarding facilities.

For pleasure riders, equestrians, rodeo contestants, ranchers, trail riders ... anyone who takes horses on the road.
