Review: This is without question the best-written, most informative, most lively guide to Key West. It's not your typical travel guide, but you won't find more entertaining information anywhere. This book takes you underneath the sheen, giving you the real picture of what the Conch Republic is really like and how it has come to be the way it is. You'll not be disappointed.

Review: True Secrets of Key West is GREAT! I lived in Key West for years and was always annoyed by all the books people wrote that didn't know the REAL story. Books that claimed to be the real story...but they changed the names, dates and circumstances. This is one that got it right. I give True Secrets of Key West my highest recommendation.
