Review: Michelin crams an astonishing quantity of information into its tall and narrow Green Guides, which fit perfectly into a purse or camera bag. Michelin's traditional black-and-white etchings have been replaced by color photo in this new Venice book, but the maps, building plans, and descriptions are up to the company's high standards. The alphabetical organization of sights and monuments is handy for those who don't like the structured "walking tour" approach.
