Summary: Excellent PDA - great value
Review: I highly recommend the Sharp Wizard 770. I had a Wizard OZ750 a while back and it worked flawlessy. But I got caught up in the Visor mystique. After spending a heck of lot of money on the Visor Deluxe, keyboard, modem and all that I realized that the Wizard handled things a heck of a lot better and went through a lot less batteries. With the exception of retrieving email, the Wizard does it all. And it doesn't crash and lose all it's data like the Visor will. One point seldom mentioned is that the Wizards have terrific backlighting! Visor backlighting is terrible. The 770 is a terrific buy even at full price and the Daytimer software has a lot more features than the Palm Desktop software. Add OZoffice (free) from mywizard.com to the 770 and you get a nice text editor, spreadsheet program and more. A definite 5 star device.

Summary: A word on a word of caution. (revised)
Review: I own a battered, black (much beter than the silver) OZ-650 and there is a way on mine to repeat events. Playing with the newer ones at the store, it seems that they can't do this. That's a shame, I really like mine and was looking to replace it with a newer one. I can type on mine, but I have disproportionally small hands for a guy. The only two things I like better on my wife's Handspring are the games and it is part of the biggest herd technologicaly.

Summary: Good product
Review: So far this product has met my expectations. MyWizard.com downloads are okay but could have more content. For those on Windows 2000 platform the free Outlook sync software thru Rupplynx does not work well for syncing addresses...you'll have to purchase upgraded version of 6.1. So they say...I haven't tried it yet. But otherwise, sync to Outlook calendar is good, and download from mywizard.com works great--just wish there were better content.

Summary: Coolest Organizer I have ever seen
Review: This has to be the very best organizer that I have ever used. You can upload many things from the internet for it and it hooks-up to your computer.

Summary: The Best Organizer One Could Buy...
Review: This is a kick a** organizer. I first bought a Franklin Rolodex for $50, but the screen on that was like a mirror. Everytime I opened it I saw less of data and more of myself on the screen. Please be aware of the problems with green display screens on under $100 gadgets. I had to rule out Palm devices because they are too expensive for storing addresses, memo, scheduler etc., I don't travel a lot and usually carry a laptop to access (online or offline) the web and email. So I thought of giving the OZ-770 a try. The first thing that scared me was, it runs Sharp's proprietary operating system and syncs up with Sharp's own DayTimer software. This means that if I move to a Palm or WindowsCE device in the future I'd have to re-enter all the data all over again. Here's the good news: There's a company called Rupplynx that offers a software for free (called RuppLynx Express) that syncs up the OZ-770 with Microsoft Outlook. I've been successfully using this software to sync up all my data to my PC. Most of the handheld devices in the market sync up very well with Microsoft Outlook. With the help of RuppLynx Express I can now migrate to either Palm or WindowsCE or something else anytime. In other words I am not tied to the sharp brand and technology. OZ-770 offers the following features and more:

- phonebook
- scheduler
- Birthday/Ann.
- Calculator
- Converter
- Calendar
- World Clock
- Memo
- Todo
- Downloadable programs (from www.mywizard.com)

OZ-770 also offers loads of configuration options.

As regards to the PROS and CONS of OZ-770 here's what I figured:

PROS:

- Excellent User Interface
- Great screen, excellent (wide) display (no glare)
- Excellent backlight
- Nice and easy to use keyboard
- Packed with features (more than what Palm offers)
- Loads of Memory (3MB)
- Long battery life due to very little power consumption
- Very very reasonably priced

CONS:

- Only available in silver color which is spray paint over plastic
- Slightly bigger in size to carry around literally everywhere you go

Conclusion:
If you don't need offline or online web/email access then OZ-770 is a must buy for anybody looking for an organizer.

Summary: Great basics!
Review: This is my second electronic organizer. The first, a Psion, was fancier, with a touch screen, more memory, and much fancier OS. But it's downfall was that it used a NiMh battery, which was non-replaceable, and wouldn't hold a charge within about 6 months. The Sharp uses AA alkalines. I'm still on my first set after a month; no recharges, no hassles.

The Sharp was very easy to learn. It can store all the different types of files the Psion did albeit in a simpler OS manner, has plenty of memory although its just 3 MB, and the keyboard is very large compared to anything else that expensive PDA's are offering. It's backlight is a joy, and it's been 100% reliable. What's not to love?

Summary: Great Organizer!!
Review: This organizer is so great I don't know where to start. Pros: Easy Typing, you can type so much in the memo, Todo is easy to use, as well as Calculator, Calendar, Schedule, and everything else, plus you can download games and data via mywizard.com and sync with Microsoft Outlook. Also has Local AND World Time, so if you're a traveller and you're in Paris, you can see what time it is at home.

Cons: Conversion not very easy to use.

This organizer is so easy to use!! Much better than Palms and Cybikos (Cybikos have a little keyboard, and one button is about the sizer of 1/4 of a watermelon seed). Like I said, conversion is not so easy to use, and the manual didn't make it any clearer. When I thought I figured it out, I went to a web site to check it, and it wasn't even close! I like the fact that you can type so much in a memo, so it's almost like a word processor. Their games are great, you should go to MyWizard.com to see what they have!! Some of their games are Minesweeper and Alien Hunter. You can create your own programs too! They have Infotogo, which enables you to copy and paste text from your computer into your organizer. Syncing with the DayTimer desktop software and Microsoft Outlook is easy, plus you can backup your data to the computer. This is an excellent organizer, much better than Palms, and I would highly reccommend this to a student or a businessman.
