Review: this is my first handheld and it's certainly been a daily companion of mine since i got it. simple, straightforward and a great buy if you want a good, reliable PDA and don't care for or need a miniature... personal computer in your hands with extra fancy controls or programs.definitely recommend.

Summary: Like the unit hate the power switch
Review: Sony put out a nice unit just forgot to include a cradle and gave us a cheap hotsync cord instead. The power switch is not the best but if that's all that I can find wrong with this unit then it must be worth the money... Even running e-book applications and vindigo, the battery life indicator just has not moved in 3 days. Awesome. This may be a great choice but if you want a bright screen consider the compaq's or the new units from Audiovox. Otherwise this is a winner.

Summary: Features, software, and price -- excellent PDA!
Review: If you don't need a color screen for your PDA, the Sony PEG-S360 is for you. It is my third PDA, and by far my favorite. I ran out of memory on my Palm IIIxe, and after much research, decided to go with the Sony. I've had it now for a few months and I couldn't be happier. 16 megs of RAM with memory stick expansion is all you will ever need. It comes with Documents to Go software (a $[money] value), which is absoutely essential if you use MS Word and Excel. It is thin and lightweight, easy to carry in your pants or shirt pocket. Looking for a good, monochrome PDA? You can't go wrong with the Sony PEG-S360!

Summary: Overall good, power button broke after 1 month
Review: This item is great. The least expensive 16MB model with a 33MHz processor. Everything works really well on this model, except the power button. I noticied it was flimsy when it was brand new, and it just stopped working after 1 month of use. A cradle would also be nice, but at this price, I understand why they left it out. If you need the extra memory, this is a good model, but I need to send mine back now to get the power button fixed.

Summary: Clie is best PDA
Review: I had a visor, which was heavy and broke after less than a year.
I woned a Palm 105 which was too heavy.
The Clie is light, better looking and the functions work more quickly then Visor or Palm.

Summary: Sony is the best bang for the buck
Review: I invested in a Sony 320 Clie in January, and I couldn't be happier--the 320 and now the 360 are comprobable to [other handheld] line, but for less than half the price. Sony runs all the Palm software, and while it might not have the snazzy aluminum case, it definitely looks pretty sleek. I love the indiglo back-light and the rechargeable battery (the low-priced palms all have regular batteries)--the lack of a cradle is a slight drag, but I'd rather have the cash, to be honest. All in all, I think it is hard to go wrong with Sony--[other handheld] has the bigger name, but the quality is the same and Sony costs A LOT less.

Summary: Clie Peg-360 - The screen will blind you
Review: The screen is very dark and is great for starting mingrain headachs. They should have made the background a lighter shade of green.

Review: Recently o bought a Sony Clie S-360 and i'm very happy with this item. This is my first handheld and it's excenllet. If you don't want audio and colors this handheld is for you. This handheld has everything i wanted in a handheld. After checking in a lot of places and checking all the reviews i decided for this instead of Palm M125 and Handspring Handhelds. I bought it with a memory stick and have a lot of documents and e-books also pictures and videos. And also, bought the stowaway portable keyboard and i have a mini laptop in my pocket. If you can effort this three items buy them without thinking in any other Handhelds manufaturers. I hope this can hel you deciding of this handheld.

Summary: Slim, slick, powerful. Palm m125, Visor Neo: watch out
Review: What other handheld offers such a strong combination of style and power? None, that's what. For my first handheld as I'm about to graduate from college, I was undecided, between the Visor Neo, Palm m125 and the Clie-s360. I know I made the right choice with the Clie-s360. The m125, at a similar price point, offers less ram, a smaller screen size, and an uglier (in my opinion) design that makes it look like a toy. The Clie-s360 has a great silverish two-tone glossy/matte look, and even though it's still a plastic case it feels solid in either hand. The Visor Neo is bulkier, less RAM, and looks and feels like a grocery store check-out line toy. Once you've tried it, you'll find that the left thumb operated jog-dial becomes as indispensible as your mouse wheel (if you have one, that is. If not, get one!) I'm a lefty, but I still have no problem using the jog-dial to scroll through web pages on AvantGo (bundled). Only time jog-dial and lefthandedness is bad is when using the stylus, but I'm not usually scrolling when writing, so it doesn't really come up. Tech specs are comparable with other new models, except for the fact that it's a affordable model with internal 16 MB!!! Very nice bonus for now, since few in its class can compare. You won't be disappointed with this as you first PDA, and as an upgrade from an older PDA you'll be pleased with its design and features!

Summary: New PDA Standard: 16 MB RAM
Review: I recently sold my Palm VIIx (8 MB RAM), which served me well. I'm an undergraduate, and 16 MB is a must for new PDA photo albums, applications, and (of course) games. I have owned the S360 for a few weeks now, and its slim design and protective cover make it very fashionable and sturdy. The only drawback with the S360 is Sony's inablity to include a CRADLE. The S360 comes with separate USB cradle and recharge adapter cables. I cannot simultaneously recharge and sync the S360.
