Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Written by 10 year old Sara Heron.
Review: I think you should read this book because it is impossible to put down. It's exciting the way Sid Hite creates his story. Also the word-choice is beautiful.

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: A great mix between fantasy and real life
Review: Lydia Swain lives in a country called Korasan. She lives in the countryside next to the Jeefwood Forest. Jeefwoods are very important to Korasan because they provide lots of things including wood to carve. Her cousin Antoinette lives in a city called Valerton. There is a festival hosted by the artisan guild in Valerton which Lydia and her family are going to. There is a big dance at which Lydia dances with a young artist named Alderson Hale. She falls in love. When Lydia goes home, she thinks her country life is boring.
Lydia???s father works for the guild by preparing the Jeefwoods for the harvest. In Valerton, the regent, Victor Brimm, is planning on destroying the Jeefwood Forest because he does not like the people who carve them and wants to be mean. Lydia is concerned. Her father is taken to jail with some other men, for no good reason, because he is trying to prevent the Jeefwood forests from being destroyed, and Victor Brimm wants him out of the way. Lydia prays everything will be alright and an angel, named Ebol, comes to help. Together they go see the leader of Korasan, and he makes everything alright.
I would recommend this book to a friend because it is suspenseful and moves quickly; as soon as Lydia prays, you meet Ebol up in heaven, and she falls in love quickly. I liked this because it did not take too long to read the book, but a lot happened.
My favorite character was Ebol because he was so sleepy but he always got things finished. I also liked Ebol because he never gave up.

Summary: IS THERE AN ANGEL ON YOUR SHOULDER?
Review: Sid Hite's gem, Answer My Prayer, is billed for young adults. It's really for all of us.

In the author's imaginary nation of Korasan we meet people we'd like to know and some absolutely preposterous angels - these winged protectors need motivation, sometimes oversleep, and have a tendency to bicker about details.

Nonetheless, this brief thought provoking book encourages us all to relook at justice, high ideals, and our fellowmen.
