Rating: Summary: My Review Review: Gloria Miklowiz writes an interesting, realistic fiction novel about a young man who takes steroids to win a college scholarship. Anything to Win shows you everything a normal teenager can go through. In a small town you would think that no one could get involved in drugs and bad things, but in this book anything can happen. In the town Cam lives in everybody knows everyone. Most of the little kids look up to Cam and the other football players. Cam is faced with a problem. His coach tells him that to get the scholarship he needs to put on 20 pounds, and the only way to do that is steroids. Cam looks up to his big brother Pete, surprisingly when Pete tells him not to take the steroids he doesn't listen. Cam is too caught up in getting the scholarship. You will never get tired reading this book. He is always battling something. Why won't his dream girl date him? Why don't people feel safe around him? Why can't he quit taking the steroids because he knows that it can make and break his life? This story is for a more mature reader, because it involves drug use. Anything to Win tells people the story behind competitive sports. It shows what the average kid can go through. Anyone can get into something they shouldn't and suffer. I enjoyed this book because it showed me some of the things I should know going into high school.

Rating: Summary: anything to win Review: I thougt it was a very good book because it gave you a lot of information about steroids and how they can really mess up your body.
