Summary: A+
Review: I must admit...I was a little nervous about entering law school. But after reading "The Law School Breakthrough" by Christopher J. Yianilos, J.D., I know that I can get through three years at any law school in the country. Mr. Yianilos does a great job of dissecting all the troubles a student will encounter while studying law. A must read for anyone going to, or already in, law school.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Makes law school seem manageable
Review: There are a lot of books written on this subject; however, none makes law school seem as manageable as "The Law School Breakthrough."

The book breaks law school down into seemingly manageable parts and takes the mystery out of everything from outlining a case, to creating a study schedule, to dealing with extracurricular activities to taking exams. I began law school somewhat in the dark re: how things would really work. Yianilos' book sheds a lot of light on the who, what, when and where of your three years of law school. Very helpful read to any budding law student.

One stylistic note--this book is written in a very conversational style. Personally, I like the approach. It makes it a very easy read and also gives the feeling that the author is your personal tutor.

I highly recommend the book--especially as one to counterbalance the obligatory reading of Scott Turrow's outlandish "1L" novel.

Summary: Law School Breakthrough, by Christopher J. Yianilos
Review: This book is both educational and entertaining. Mr Yianilos has done a masterful job of detailing every aspect of what it takes not only to succeed, but to excel in law school. Every potential law student should read this book before entering law school. Doing so will remove any anxiety about what to expect in law school and it will give the student everything needed to pass exams with flying colors.

The entertaining part is the story of Mr. Yianilos, while at law school. A facinating read.
