Summary: Kathlyn Gay has done an excellent job.
Review: This book is excellently written and covers manys aspects concerning the experiences of the biracial and interracial culture. The books discusses life experiences of adults, childern, and youth as well as the concern for the multiracial category. The author expresses the concerns that biracial and interracial people have regarding thier own personal identity and how society has impacted their lives. A "must read" book!

Summary: Interesting Look At Multiracial Americans
Review: This books features short interviews with children and adults, who tell what it is like to grow up as an "other" in the United States and their struggle to be recognized for who they are. I enjoyed this book, but I would recommend a far superior book (also by Kathlyn Gay) called "The Rainbow Effect' which explores multiracial children and their families. However since that book does not seem to be available at Amazon, I do recommend this one as well. Read it, you will learn something
