Summary: Stick with it till the cows start moving!
Review: This is hands down one of my favorite books. It's slow to start, but if you hang in there until they start moving the cows north you'll be hooked. Great characters, great multiple plots. I've read this one probably five times in the last ten years - and plan to reread it again and again.
