Review: This book was recommended by "The Well Trained Mind" as a second grade earth science textbook. It is the perfect "starter" volume to begin a study of the earth. Each topic has two pages, with a lot of illustrations and explanations, to whet the appetite, and encourage follow-up reading and study. Major topics include the land, water, weather, landscapes, and conservation.
