Rating: Summary: I felt as though I was one of the characters in the book. Review: This is one of the best books I've read because it seemed so real. Fear of Falling was exciting, especially when the author wrote about the Siamese cat being treated for breathing problems, with younger kids helping the vet as vet assistants. I want to be a vet someday. David, the main character, learned that jumping horses is dangerous and riders should take precautions. But he learned he could fall and still like jumping. This book seemed real because the characters were young, and the story was told from their point of view. Readers should be at Level 6 (third grade) to read this book.
