Summary: A review by a teen who loved this book
Review: I have read all 5 of the Dawn Rochelle book and I fully enjoyed them all. I would recomend these books to any teen who loves a good cry, and/or a good storie. I would also recomd any other book by Lurlene Mcdaniel. God bless.

Review: I have read all five of the Dawn Rochelle novels. I think that they are very inspiring and true. It is wonderful to hear these great stories of success and bravery!

Summary: So much to live for review
Review: I like this book because its about a girl who got Leukemia when she was my age. The girl in the books name is Dawn. She is a very special person because shes nice to almost everyone. One thing i liked about the book was the friendships. Dawn met a girl named Marlee who is about 13 yrs. old at Cancer Camp when Dawn was a counsler. Marlee was really mean to Dawn because she felt sorry for herself. Dawn had a very good heart though, when Marlee got sick and was in the hospital Dawn would visit her every day. Marlee and Dawn became very close to each other. Thats another thing about the book, its very sad because Dawn had friends who didnt have Cancer, and they didnt understand her and when she would get really close to someone who did have Cancer and understood her, they would always get sick and die. I would recommend this book to anyone who has read the other books before this one.

Summary: One of my favorites
Review: I read this book first, but didn't realize it was part of a series. This one's my favorite, because the characters are all so fun. It really made me cry though, because I loved all the characters, and at the end, when one of the (I don't wanna ruin it) died, I cried - which I never do in books. Basically, Dawn Rochelle goes to a camp for kids with cancer, as a counsuler this year though, and meets a bunch of great kids with cancer. One kid in particular (I believe her name is Marley, but I haven't read the book in a while, so if I'm wrong, I'm sorry) has a major attitude problem, and Dawn cannot stand her. Finally, after trying to get along with her, Dawn finds out why. This books is great, is all I can say! You have to read it if you like Lurlene McDaniel!

Summary: A Great Read
Review: I read this series for the first time when i was about 10. I think my mom read them to me actually. Since then I have read the entire series at least once a year!There are five books in the series: "Six Months to Live," "I Want to Live," So Much to Live for," "No Time to Cry," and a new one called "To Live Again." These books depict a young woman, Dawn Rochelle, who battles lukemia, and loves and loses some good friends along the way. It is pretty realistic and very touching. As a teen with a chronic illness, I can totally relate to many of Dawn's experiences, but even if you have never stepped foot in a hospital the "Six Months to Live" series will give you a look into the life of someone with an illness, and i guarantee it will leave you with a new appreication for life!

Review: So Much to Live For tells the story of Dawn Rochelle her leukeimia is in remission since she had a bone marrow transplant. But of course there are no guarantees. When Joan Clark from the Cancer Clinic asks her to work at cancer camp for the summer,Dawn does not really want to but how can she refuse.She knows it will just bring back sad memories of Sandy her friend with cancer who died at a treatment center in Mexico.So when Dawn arrives at camp and meets Brent, Sandy's brother she doesn't know what to expect maybe this summer will be better than she thought? But then she meets Marlee Hodges a hateful girl who detests camp,sickness and everyone around her and Dawn starts to dislike camp more but feels she should try and get Marlee more involved. Will Dawn succeed or will this Summer be worse than she ever imagined?

Summary: Best in the series
Review: This is the third book in the Dawn Rochelle series and it is by far the best. When Dawn agrees to be a CIT she has no idea what she is getting herself into. She soon meets Brent, her best friend Sandy's older brother. They become great friends seeing as he's a CIT as well. Dawn soon meets a little girl named Marlee in camp who refuses to join in with the other girls in her cabin. Dawn seems to be the only one who can open her up, and does so to find a world of hurt for this young girl. After camp is over, Marlee goes into the hospital and calls upon Dawn to be there for her. Marlee lives with her Grandmother who won't tell her the truth. This is a touching story about friendship and understanding. It truely will open up your mind.
