Rating: Summary: Great Sequels to the Greatest Book Review: Personally, Ender's Game is my favorite book. I loved the Speaker trilogy. As soon as I finished that, I moved on to these. Though the lack the philosophy of the Speaker trilogy, they are still fascinating, thouroughly engrossing tales that represent Card's skill perfectly. I am reading Card's Homecoming set, but it just doesn't compare to these books. Really just brilliant pieces of storytelling.

Rating: Summary: An awesome series for all ages Review: When I was in 7th, Enders game was one of the books the whole class read together. After reading Ender's game (now my all time favorite book)i read all the sequels. I was ecspecially impressed with the shadow trilogy. Remember Bean, the small but gifted boy in Ender's army? Ender's Shadow is basically Ender's game, but told from Beans point of view. It's very interesting to learn of Bean's begginings and where he's from. You also learn more about him and his capabilities than you did in Ender's game. Orson Scott Card did an awesome job on this book. Shadow of the Hegemon is probably my least favorite book in the trilogy, but it's still an outstanding book. Achille, a child serial killer who has a long-held grudge against bean, is out to get him. All our favorite charecters are back on Earth, where a war for world domination is raging.Bean is, of course, a commanding officer in this war, but so is Achilles. Achilles is holding Ender's "Jeesh", all those who fought with him during the Bugger wars (besides bean of course), hostage ,hoping Bean will try to save them. Also going on in this story, a certain brother of a certain famous war hero is elected hegemon, sort of like president, exept for the entire world. In the 3 book, shadow puppets, Petra (remember her!) and Bean have gone into hiding, trying to once again escape the clutches of Achilles. There is a suprise (well, at least it was for me) twist, involving Petra and Bean........ I can't really say much about it without giving it away... although i'd like to.......Also going on in the story, the hegemon is going through tough times, and Orson Scott Card did an awesome job of going into the hegemons mind and made it really clear to all us readers what he was thinking. All in All this is an awesome series... Orson Scott Card is a brilliant author. I think the Shadow trilogy would be a GREAT movie!!!
