Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Recommended for readers age 12 and up
Review: Award-winning author Chester Aaron, whose books have been selected for the Junior Literary Guild and made into an ABC Weekend Special movie, presents Home To The Sea, a novel for young adults about a twelve-year-old girl confronting changes in her life an Olympic-quality gift for swimming, and the mysterious ability to hear inhuman voices calling her to the sea. The author's years of participation in marine mammal rescues adds authenticity and emotion to scenes portrayed in Home to the Sea, and the story of a young girl on the cusp of womanhood seeking the truth about herself and her heritage will resonate in the hearts of young people. Home To The Sea is especially recommended for readers age 12 and up.

Summary: A Girl--A Mermaid?
Review: I love sea mammals--whales, dolphins, seals, etc., and I loved this beautiful book. Even though it's about a girl turning into a mermaid, it's very realistic about how she feels about it. And the rescues were wonderful and very exciting. Anybody who likes mermaids, or the sea, or fantasy will love this book!
