Summary: This is one of the best books I've come across...
Review: This book is an invaluable resource for those taking the SAT Math Level IIC. The review section is very complete and covers just about everything that the test may cover. There are very few books that can capture the essence of the SAT tests but this one does just that. It starts out with a diagnostic test and points you out to the areas which you may need to review. The best part of this book is the fact that the practice tests are incredibly difficult compared to the real test. I was getting around 30/50 on each practice test which made me a little apprehensive about taking the test. The only downside to this book is that there is no scale to find out what your score would be (this is only a slight drawback). After I received my scores I could not believe that I got a 790 (I even left about 5 problems blank). So if you aren't doing very well on the practice tests don't worry because you will do just fine on test day.

Summary: Hard, fit for a hard worker!
Review: This book is frightening at first glance- the practice problems, which it claims to take from real Math IIC exams, are often impossible to do. The practice tests are virtually impossible to finish in one hour, and even if you can, there is always a possibility for error.
So why's this book so good? Well, it makes sure that you are completely prepared for the real SAT II exam, which is far easier than this book. As I did the test in January, I though "whoa, am I really taking the IIC exam?" I was, and pretty much aced it.
So if you're aiming for an 800, this is the best book to go with.

Summary: I LOVE THIS BOOK
Review: THIS IS THE BEST BOOK IN THE WORLD. HYEAH I JUST GOT MY TEST SCORES I GOT AN 800 :-) :-)... I skipped from highschool geometry to highschool ap calc bc, so I didn't know half of the material, but I learned it all frmo this book. Two weeks before the test I picked this up and I started studying, I read each section plus did every test, one a day. It paid off, it was a great book. The real secret was that it helped me speed the time it took me to do the problems. I finished the test like 10 minutes early. I learned how to do everything faster and learned the material they were teaching. Yeah I love the book, the tests were harder I got 670's on Barrons, but 80000000000000 on the real one. I love Barron's book. I left 3 blank, missed one question. YAAAAY. GET THIS BOOK NOW! forget kaplan, REA, princeton for this subject.

Summary: I got an 800 after this book
Review: Well, I'd actually rate the book as a 4.5 if there was that option. But I feel like rounding up because of my SAT II score. Even if you've completed geometry, trigonometry, or precalculus, sometimes you didn't learn the quick tips that help you get faster - thats what the first half of this book is for. It has reviews over every topic on the SAT II for you to look over and take away what you think is convenient. The second half is review tests. These are ultra-hard, and sometimes theres a mistake in the answer key or the answer could almost be 2 of the answer choices. But if you take all of them, you'll hit on everything that the SAT II could throw at you. Aim to do well on the practice tests, and all you have to do on the test day is lock and load for an hour or so. The real thing is easier than the practice tests, but don't be fooled: You want to save some time for the last 2 or 3 problems that ar a little trickier. I landed up skipping these problems and still got an 800, but if you think you missed some problems early on, obviously you'll want the Kudos points from the last 2. GOOD LUCK!
