Rating: 5 stars
Summary: A suprisingly good story
Review: I liked this book because it's hard to find a good kid's book. I really liked the characters because they seemed like kids I wouldn't mind being friends with. Casey, the main character, was a tomboy and I liked that because some books portray girls as being weak and frail. Anyway this story was about a girl, her three friends, and big brother trying to track down a carving that was stolen from an elderly teacher at their school.During the story they not only uncover many surprises (you'll have to read to find out about them), but they learn the history of the carving and about the kindness of people.
